MRS. E. OSOKA is the Managing Partner of the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1983. She has been in private practice for over 35 (thirty- five) years. Her work experience covers being a counsel in the firm of M. A. Agbamuche (SAN) and service as State Counsel with the Federal Ministry of Justice, Legal Officer with the Public Complaints Commission, and a Partner with the legal firm of Obioha, Jude Idigbe & Co. before opting to establish the firm E. OSOKA & CO. in 1998.

She is a registered member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Maritime Arbitration Association of Nigeria (MAAN), an accredited Capital Market Consultant with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) as well as being accredited with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

MR. OGALA OSOKA(JR) is a Partner and obtained his Bachelors of Laws (LL. B) Degree from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2003 and a Masters of Law (LL.M) in Commercial and Maritime Law from the University of Wales, Swansea, United Kingdom.

He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006. He worked with the law firm of Rickey Tarfa (SAN) & Co. and Alliance Law Firm before joining this Firm as a Partner. He has local and international exposure in commercial transactions and has acquired excellent litigation and arbitration skills from his vast exposure in practice.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association as well as the International Bar Association. He is the General Counsel of the firm and head of transactions.

MR. TIWALADE ADEROJU is a Partner and obtained his Bachelors of Laws (LL.B) Degree from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2005, a Masters’ in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales Institute and a Masters of Law (LL.M) in International Commercial and Maritime Law from the University of Wales, Swansea, United Kingdom. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2010.

He previously worked in the law firm of Chief James Onoja (SAN) & Associates, Paul C. Ananaba (SAN) & Associates and Doyin Rhodes-Vivour (SAN) & Co. Mr. Aderoju has garnered experience in criminal and civil litigation. He has acted as counsel to corporate and individual clients on various civil and criminal matters.

He advises clients on regulatory compliance and corporate due diligence as well as land documentation. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). He heads the Lagos Litigation Department of the Firm.

MR. JOHN ADESI OCHOGWU is a Partner of the Firm. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Benue State University, Makurdi, Nigeria from where he graduated in 2005. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, where he obtained his B.L and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. He has been in private practice for over 12 years.

His work experience covers being Head of Chambers for Kanu G. Agabi (SAN) & Associates from 2008 – 2013 and Principal Partner Ochogwu, Ochogwu & Associates, before joining the Firm as a Partner. He is the head of Litigation at the Abuja office.

MR. CHIDI OSOKA is a graduate of the University of Hertfordshire United Kingdom where he obtained his LLB (Hons) in 2006 and an LLM in International Commercial Law in 2007. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009.

He worked in the Law firm of Simmons Cooper Partners as legal counsel and with Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc from 2010 to 2019 as the Head of Legal Unit and compliance before joining the practice as a Senior Associate.

He has obtained vast experience in Insurance law and practice over the years and has the Chartered Insurance Institute (CIIN) Diploma in Insurance. He is the head of the corporate, Insurance and property department of the firm.

ABBAS ONOJA OCHOGWU obtained his LL.B Degree from the Benue State University, Makurdi in 2013 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015. He worked with the law Firm of D.D.Dodo & Co (SAN) and Country Chambers and as an Associate with Ochogwu, Ochogwu & Associates before joining the Firm of E. Osoka & Co. as an Associate. He possesses excellent transactional skills.

IMOTER JAPHETH GBIM-GBANDE graduated from the Benue State University, Makurdi, having obtained his LL. B in 2013. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015. He obtained a Masters of Law Degree in Maritime & Commercial Law from the Lagos State University.

He began his legal practice with the law Firm of Mohammed Fawehinmi & Co. and proceeded to the Firm of Ochogwu, Ochogwu & Associates before joining the Firm of E. Osoka & Co. as an Associate. Mr. Gbim-Gbande is a bright and talented lawyer and possesses a vast wealth of knowledge in litigation and maritime.

MR. NNAMDI CHIBUISI AJOMIWE is a graduate of Abia State University Uturu where he obtained his Bachelors of Law (LLB) Degree in 2010. He attended Nigeria Law School Abuja where he obtained his B.L in 2015 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015.

He served with the Rivers State Ministry of Justice for his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). He proceeded to work with the Law Firm of Nnamdi Uchendu & Co and Anayo Nwakodo & Co as Junior Counsel in the Corporate Practice of the Firms.

He is Head of Chambers in Umuahia, Abia State

STEPHANIE CHIOMA MAZI obtained her Bachelors of Law (LLB) Degree from the Abia State University Uturu (ABSU) in 2016. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.

She served as a Court Research Assistant, in the Judicial Headquarters in Uyo during her National Youth Service (NYSC). She practiced in the Law Firms of Ugochukwu Chambers and CYINO Towers Chambers in Abia State as a Junior Counsel where she gained experience in Civil and Criminal Litigation. She is an Associate in Firm.

TEMITAYO BUKOLA AJAGBE obtained a Degree in Law from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ogun State in 2010 before proceeding to the University of Lagos were she graduated with a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy in 2012.

Temitayo has vast experience and skill in general law practice and specializes in corporate law and litigation. She was an Associate Legal counsel in the law Firm of Paul C. Ananaba (SAN) & Co., before proceeding to Emzor Pharmaceuticals Lagos where she worked as the Assistant Legal Counsel for years.

BOLARINWA MORAKINYO obtained his LL.B Law Degree from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2015 and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School for his Bachelors of Law and was called to the Bar in Nigerian Law School 2016.

His experience and practice covers dispute resolution, commercial litigation and arbitration and corporate law practice. He is an Associate at the firm’s Ibadan office. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.

YETUNDE AISHA ABASS graduated from Kwara State University as an Accountant in 2016. She gained work experience from with the firm of Lanre Sulaimon & Co and is the Practice Manager of the Firm.

MR SEUN OLAOBAJU obtained his LLB (Hons) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2014 and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2016.

He served with the Rivers State Ministry of Justice under the Director of Public Prosecution for his National youth service year in 2017. He gained experience in the field of commercial practice at the law Firm of Adeleke Adeyemo & Co. from where he joined the Firm as an Associate in September 2019.

MS ANUMNU JOY is the Firms’ Secretary and Assistant Head of Administration. She obtained her B. Sc. Degree from the Imo State University in Accountancy in 2011 and served in Nasarawa State for her NYSC.

As an Accountant, she has worked in several law Firms and organizations as a Secretary and para-legal where she has gained experience in this area.

FATOLU SAMUEL OLUWASEGUN is the Litigation Clerk of the Firm. He worked with the law firm of P.O.Gbegbaje and Associates prior to joining the Firm
